The band had earned critical acclaim during their brief lifespan, drawing comparisons to the Hollies, the Beatles, and Crosby Stills & Nash. A fourth album, Wack'n'Roll, remained unreleased. Previously, Segarini had worked with the Ratz, which included the then-unknown guitarist Gary Duncan of later Quicksilver Messenger Service fame, Roxy, and the Dudes.
