Considered the co-founder of Western Swing, merging country, dance and jazz. Seen as “the King of Western Swing” although Spade Cooley also claimed the moniker. Known for recordings such as Steel Guitar Rag, New San Antonio Rose, Smoke On The Water, Stars And Stripes On Iwo Jima, New Spanish Two Step, Ida Red Likes The Boogie, and Faded Love ~ Wills passed away in 1975
