Can;t Get Enough Of Your Love BabeJune 28, 1974 ~ Singer Barry White releases Can't Get Enough Of Your Love Babe, lifted off his Can't Get Enough album ~ Regarded as one of his greatest love songs, as well as a precursor to disco, Barry White actually wrote this song for Glodean Beverly James one night when he couldn't get to sleep. White and James, who was lead singer of White's backing unit dubbed the Love Unlimited Orchestra, would be married in October 1974 and became one of the best known couples in showbiz. The song, a signature song for White, would spend twelve weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart including one week at No.1, making it his highest charting single. James and White separated in 1988 but never divorced and remained close until White's death in 2003, the couple have four children
