The song would become most closely associated with Leo Sayer though, whose single hit top 10 in over a dozen countries, including No.1 in Canada, the Netherlands, Ireland, the UK, and America, making it his second and final American charttopper after You Make Me Feel Like Dancing earlier the same year.
